From KitchenTown Berlin to FutureFoodCo
FutureFoodCo stands on a strong foundation. As an innovation agency and service provider for food innovation, we build today on years of practical experience in community building, product development and corporate innovation.
Opening of KitchenTown Innovation Space in Berlin
With the opening of the KitchenTown Space at Mollstraße 32 in Berlin, a physical home for food innovation was born. From the start, we positioned ourselves not just as space operators, but as a strategic service provider and innovation partner for startups and companies.
The space quickly grew into one of the most visible food innovation hubs in Germany.
Building a strong food startup community
From 2020 on, an active community of innovative food startups, founders and experts grew around KitchenTown Berlin. Companies like vly, HOLY, BettaF!sh and ProjectEaden shaped this phase significantly.
Our role: connector, sparring partner and operational service provider for product development, market tests and growth. The focus was on co-creation, fast learning cycles and real implementation.
Stepping into corporate food innovation
From 2021 on, we consistently expanded our work into corporate innovation. As a food innovation agency, we supported companies like Givaudan, Hochland, Valensina, Mövenpick and many others in developing new products, services and business models.
During this phase, our Innovation Sprints took shape — a structured approach we use as an agency and innovation service provider to help companies make solid decisions and scale innovation efficiently.
Handover of the Innovation Space & a new chapter
In 2025 the deliberate transition takes place: the Innovation Space at Mollstraße 32 is handed over to vly and remains a central place for food innovation in Berlin.
At the same time, our operations under the KitchenTown Berlin name come to a close. With FutureFoodCo, we continue our work as an independent innovation agency and service provider for food & future markets.
FutureFoodCo — the next chapter begins
Since January 2026 we're officially FutureFoodCo. Same ambition, same passion — with a new name that makes our direction even clearer: into the future of food.
From Berlin, we work with companies, artists & creators across DACH — helping them shape tomorrow's F&B market.
